Week 10 of the 2025 NFL season is in the books and every team is now past the halfway mark of the season. The contenders are distancing themselves from the pretenders one week at a time and now a new power has risen atop the ESPN power rankings.

On Tuesday, ESPN's NFL Nation released its power ranking for Week 11. The Kansas City Chiefs, despite being a on a bye-week, fell all the way from No. 1 in the league to No. 11 due to their 5-4 record.

Replacing the Chiefs at the top of the power rankings is the team that got the final win of Week 10: The Philadelphia Eagles. In his explanation of the Eagles' ranking, ESPN's Tim McManus referred to star wideout DeVonta Smith as the "Non-QB MVP" of the team.

"(Smith) leads all Eagles skill players with 48 catches, 657 receiving yards and nine catches of 20-plus yards, which speaks to his big-play ability and quarterback Jalen Hurts' trust in him downfield. Smith was on pace for a career high in receiving yards (1,250) entering Monday. The 2021 Heisman Trophy winner plays in a run-based system and shares the field with receiver A.J. Brown and running back Saquon Barkley, making gaudy stats harder to come by. Though a team-first player, Smith said he has goals of making the Pro Bowl and being named All-Pro. He has put himself in position to have a shot at it," McManus wrote.

It's hard to argue against them. Despite a couple of surprise losses in October to the Denver Broncos and New York Giants, the Eagles have righted the ship with three straight wins. Beating the Green Bay Packers on Monday in Lambeau Field was no small feat and while the offensive numbers in that 10-7 win may not be that impressive, it's clear that the Eagles are nigh unbeatable when their defense is putting in the work.

State of the Eagles

At 7-2, the Eagles have a clear line of sight to the playoffs, the NFC East title and even the top overall seed. That being said, they do have a number of obstacles on the horizon.

Next week they play the surging Detroit Lions in primetime then head to Dallas before Thanksgiving to play the Cowboys. They'll have very little rest after that Cowboys game as they return home for a rare Black Friday football game against the similarly-surging Chicago Bears.

After the Bears it's a road game against the Los Angeles Chargers on a Monday followed by a home game against the Raiders in Week 14. The Eagles will end the season with two games against the rival Washington Commanders, which sandwich a road game against the Buffalo Bills that many believe could be a Super Bowl preview.

What will the Eagles' final record be?
