The NFL playoffs are here, and fans are scrambling to make their last-minute predictions before the action gets underway.

For ESPN's Bill Barnwell, he appears to be really high on one team that many might write off as early as the Wild Card round. He’s not only predicting them to pull off an early upset but has them going all the way to the Super Bowl.

Barnwell recently shared his game-by-game predictions, mapping out the journey from the Wild Card round to the big game.

In the Wild Card, he predicts two higher seeds will fall. He thinks the No. 5 seed Los Angeles Chargers will beat the No. 4 Houston Texans, and the No. 7 seed Green Bay Packers will knock off the No. 2 seed Philadelphia Eagles.

In the Divisional round, Barnwell has the Packers pulling off another upset. This time, against a team that beat them twice earlier this season and earned the NFC's No. 1 seed. Here are his Divisional predictions:

  • Baltimore Ravens defeat Buffalo Bills, 23-20.
  • Kansas City Chiefs defeat Los Angeles Chargers, 27-21.
  • Los Angeles Rams defeat Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 31-24.
  • Green Bay Packers defeat Detroit Lions, 38-34.

Barnwell predicts the Packers' run will continue past the NFC Championship Game. Here are his predictions for the final four.

  • Chiefs defeat Ravens, 24-20.
  • Packers defeat Rams, 27-16.

Barnwell ultimately predicts a Chiefs-Packers Super Bowl. While he sees Kansas City making history as the first NFL team to win three straight titles (Chiefs win 27-13), the Packers’ road to the big game would be nothing short of surprising.

As the lowest seed in the NFC, Green Bay would need to defeat the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds and then the other remaining team.

According to ESPN’s FPI, the Packers have an 11.7% chance of reaching the Super Bowl.

For bettors eyeing a Chiefs-Packers matchup, in particular, the odds of correctly picking both teams are set at +5000 (ESPN BET).
