During her first visit to AT&T Stadium for the Monday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans, Kimes appeared to take a playful jab at owner Jerry Jones and the stadium’s well-known sunlight glare issue.
“First time at Cowboys Stadium," Kimes tweeted. "The natural lighting is great! I get it now, Jerry."

This design flaw, stemming from the stadium’s east-west orientation and expansive glass windows, has been criticized for years.
Players including Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb have called for curtains to block the sunlight, especially after Lamb missed a potential touchdown pass during the team’s 34-6 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Nov. 10 citing the blinding glare.

Jerry Jones has consistently dismissed calls to address the issue, arguing that all teams face the same conditions and that the sunlight is a known factor during games.
Despite the availability of curtains used for non-football events, Jones has refused to implement them during games, famously quipping, “Let’s tear the damn stadium down and build another one? Are you kidding me?”
Kimes’ tweet adds to the growing chorus of players, analysts and fans urging the Cowboys to reconsider their stance. While Jones remains firm in his decision, the sunlight glare at AT&T Stadium continues to be a heated topic of discussion in the NFL world.
