Pretty soon thousands of football fans from all corners of the United States will descend upon Titletown and take over Green Bay, Wisconsin for the 2025 NFL Draft, which starts on Thursday night.
At this time, NFL Draft analysts are getting in their final prognostications and predictions.
Monday morning on the ESPN program "Get Up", former NFL signal-caller Dan Orlovsky backed one player as being the "steal of the draft" - Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.
"For me, he's the guy that two or three years from now we look back and go, man, people were wrong on him, he's the steal of the draft essentially," Orlovsky explained. "When you watch his tape he's so similar to Bo Nix last year and, wow, a lot better than I anticipated."
Orlovsky is a believer in Dart's ability to possess all of the physical traits and throw every pass in the route tree.
"When you're talking about a guy that has physical traits, sees the field well... For me, since Day 1, it's been Jaxson Dart is the intrigue," Orlovsky said.
It is not hard to fall in love with Dart. He has drastically moved up the boards after improving week after week. He finished the season as one of the best quarterbacks in the country.
He stands 6-foor-2 and weighs 223 pounds. He has above-average size for a quarterback and has the accuracy to lead his team downfield.
Many experts draw comparisons to Brock Purdy.
