NASHVILLE — Tennessee Titans starting quarterback Will Levis was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday with an ankle injury that had him limping throughout drills.
This is not the first time this season that Levis’ injury status has raised concerns. But this is definitely the most hobbled he has been, especially since he took over as the teams starting quarterback.
Here’s everything we knows so far about Levis’ injury status.
Levis' current situation is completely unrelated to the training camp injury that kept him out of two preseason games.
The ankle issues originated during Tennessee's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road in Week 11. The rookie quarterback was seen getting his left ankle taped at the end of the first quarter in that game, but he would finish the day without any problems.
But a few days later, on the Tuesday before the Titans-Panthers game, Levis missed a practice for what was listed as a foot/ankle injury. The rookie quarterback was a full participant in every practice last week, but did show up on the injury report.
So how concerned should Titans fans be? I'd say at least a little bit. While the ankle injury is not a new thing for Levis, noticeably limping around during drills definitely is. I don't recall ever seeing him this hobbled before in any practice this season.

34-year-old veteran Ryan Tannehill remains the backup for the Titans if Levis were unable to go on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts
Thursday is sure to be an important day on the practice field as Titans fans hold their breath for Levis to look healthier.
