Ex-Falcons QB Matt Ryan Boldly Teases a Tom Brady Comeback: 'I Think He Could'

Matt Ryan has zero animosity toward Tom Brady for stealing a Super Bowl ring under his nose. That was nine years ago, and both players are happily enjoying retirement life.

Ryan leads a quiet life as a family man with his wife, Sarah, and three kids, occasionally attending celebrity events such as the American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament in Lake Tahoe. At the event, Ryan caught up with Dan Patrick for a chat on his show.

Patrick asked Ryan whether Brady can still play football even though he’s turning 48 this year.

I think he could… The way he takes care of himself, he looks more fit now than he’s ever been.

Matt Ryan told Patrick

It will be incredible to see veteran Brady rubbing shoulders with Caleb Williams, CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniels, and Shedeur Sanders. But can he still sling it? Or to be blunt, will Brady’s pocket passing skills work in an era when coaches prefer a more mobile quarterback, aside from having the awareness of a field general?

I think the style with which [Tom Brady] played leads to being able to play longer. Not moving around, not having to run and do all those different things. Because he can still throw it, he could still spin it at the end.

Ryan does make a good point. Brady played deep into his 40s. He signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and won his seventh ring at the age of 41.

Recent photographs from Brady’s trip to Ibiza proved that the TB12 diet has helped him stay in great shape. But will he ever suit up again? Perhaps not. He signed up to be the face of FOX Sports broadcasts for the next decade and is a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.

Former quarterback alleges Tom Brady is hiding a beauty secret from his fans

Ryan praised Brady’s toned physique and skills on the ball, but he missed an important aspect that completes a man’s appearance—his hair. That’s right. There’s a conspiracy that Brady, a talented quarterback, wasn’t born with gifted hair genes like HOF Terry Bradshaw.

Retired Bengals quarterback and football critic Boomer Esiason speculated that Brady had undergone a hair transplant.

I’ve been telling you about this since Tom Brady came back with a full head of hair… like five years ago.

Boomer Esiason told Gregg Giannotti and Jerry Recco on WFAN

Brady has never commented on his hair, and if Esiason hadn’t pointed it out, it is doubtful that fans would have guessed Tom Brady had taken hair treatment. His hair is definitely a hit with the fairer gender. From Irina Shayk to Sofia Vergara, several different women have been seen swooning over the man from Cali.

One individual who is not too keen on shaking hands with Brady is Bradshaw. The Pittsburgh Steelers legend called out the FOX network for favoring Brady over others (mostly him) for a big-money extension.

You know how much money they made? God. More money than plumbers, I can assure you that. … And I guarantee you, if I go in there and ask for a raise, [they’ll say,] ‘Well, we don’t have any … we’re running a little tight.’ Well, you just paid Tom Brady $37 million a year. I’ll take it.

Bradshaw said

Bradshaw joined the FOX network in 1994, and at age 76, he is unlikely to get a bigger contract than Brady.
