Ex Falcons WR Mack Hollins finds a new home

The 30-year-old spent the 2023 campaign in Atlanta but spent the prior season in Las Vegas, where he turned in a career year.

He finished the 2022 season with nearly 700 yards and four touchdowns on 57 receptions with the Raiders. However, he only had 251 yards on 18 catches with the Falcons, even being relegated to special teams at one point.

I wouldn’t expect much if you’re a Buffalo Bills fan coming across this piece. Hollins is 6-foot-4 and 221 pounds, so there’s clearly something there to love, but don’t expect it to be a seamless transition from Gabe Davis to Mack Hollins. They aren’t similar players, and the latter is much less effective.

Now, he’s certainly worth the few million dollars spent on a high-energy guy who will do the dirty work that nobody else wants to do. Hollins is a more than willing blocker, a solid contributor on special teams, and a positive locker room presence.

For the Falcons, it was a bad free agent signing, but that doesn’t mean it will be for the Bills.
