The Atlanta Falcons advanced to 4-7 on Sunday, defeating the New Orleans Saints 24-10. They're looking to stay hot, now facing the 2-9 New York Jets in Week 13 on the road.
The Falcons' offense put up three touchdowns, even without wide receiver Drake London and quarterback Michael Penix Jr. Of course, Penix suffered a season-ending ACL injury, while London was ruled out due to a knee injury.
It's the second game London has missed this season, but there's been hope he could return against the Jets. At 4-7, Atlanta is slowly falling behind in the NFC South, currently sitting in third place.
Unfortunately, on Wednesday, before the team's first practice of Week 13, head coach Raheem Morris told reporters that London is already doubtful to play against the Jets.
"Falcons head coach Raheem Morris on wide receiver Drake London's week-to-week injury status: 'He looks good. He's moving around. I'm happy that we'll get him back soon, just not sure how soon.' Said London is likely doubtful for Sunday's game against the Jets," the Falcons' beat reporter, Terrin Waack, wrote on X.

Despite having missed two games (Week 8 and Week 12), London still leads the team in targets (94), receptions (60), yards (810) and touchdowns (10). He continues to establish himself as the Falcons' top receiving option since being selected with the No. 8 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Following the team's Week 9 loss to the New England Patriots, Penix praised London, saying, "He's a special player, special person. He does special things each and every week. It's exciting to see. Happy that he's on our team."
If he's unable to play, it only adds pressure on other targets such as running back Bijan Robinson , tight end Kyle Pitts and wide receiver Darnell Mooney. They're the only other players on Atlanta with at least 250 receiving yards.
Kickoff is Sunday at 1 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium, airing on Fox.
