Update: According to Josh Kendall, Daniels was in the team’s locker room in his game pants after the game and walked on his own. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital but remained conscious and moved all his extremities. For now, it appears as though Daniels avoided a more serious injury, has been released, and is back with the team. We will provide additional updates on Daniels as they become available.

Falcons LB Kendal Daniels was carted off the field during Sunday’s game against the Bears after attempting to tackle TE Colston Loveland.

Many speculated that Daniels would head straight to the hospital for evaluation rather than the locker room, as he left on a stretcher with his jersey and pads cut off.

Daniels, 23, attended Oklahoma State before transferring to Oklahoma and was selected by Atlanta with their fourth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

He signed a four-year, $5,169,036 rookie contract and is in the first year of that deal.

In 2026, Daniels has appeared in six games for Atlanta, recording 22 tackles and one sack.

We will have more on Daniels as it becomes available.
