The Falcons injury toll has become immense in recent weeks, and it got even worse during last Sunday’s game against the Patriots with both Matthew Bergeron and Chris Lindstrom suffering injuries.
On Wednesday, Raheem Morris provided some clarity on the severity of those issues, declaring Bergeron week-to-week and Lindstrom day-to-day. Morris added Bergeron is unlikely to play against the Indianapolis Colts in Germany, with backup guard Kyle Hinton set to take his place.
Raheem Morris says Matthew Bergeron “doesn’t look good for this week,” but he didn’t want to rule anything out. Says he’s week-to-week. If he can’t go, Kyle Hinton will continue to plug in his place.

Additionally, Morris revealed backup swing tackle Storm Norton suffered a setback in his return from an ankle injury that’s forced him to miss the entire season to this point, which resulted in the signing of offensive tackle Andrew Stueber.
Stueber spent some time with Atlanta last year during the preseason and appeared in seven games for the Cincinnati Bengals, his only experience as a professional.
Hopefully, Stueber doesn’t need to be called upon Sunday, but regardless, it looks like it’s going to be a hodgepodge group across the offensive front against one of the league’s best teams in the Indianapolis Colts as the Falcons hope to avoid a 3-6 start.
