Famous Disney World Super Bowl commercial will air despite parade's cancellation

Many aspects of Sunday's Super Bowl LV matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs will be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Attendance at Raymond James Stadium is capped at roughly 25,000 fans. Those in the stands and also on the sidelines must wear masks or other approved face coverings. The annual postgame parade at Walt Disney World is canceled because of the health crisis.

Television viewers will still experience some normalcy shortly after the contest's winner is confirmed.

According to the Associated Press (h/t ESPN), the famous "I'm Going to Disney World" commercial that usually features the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player will air after the game:

In a statement shared by the AP, Disney officials said:

"Be sure to stay tuned after the big game to catch the commercial on major TV networks and social media! Disney Parks hopes to be able to bring back our other Super Bowl traditions next year, including letting football and Disney fans see and cheer on their favorite player in the park."

Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the reigning Super Bowl MVP, while Tampa Bay signal-caller and six-time champion Tom Brady has earned the honor on four occasions.
