The NFL has released its list of All-Pro players, which are players who are regarded as the best at their positions. Sadly, this year was not good for the Los Angeles Chargers in terms of Pro Bowl and All-Pro nods.
The lack of players for both lists has a lot to do with injuries, which have plagued the Chargers the entire season. The good news is that one player did get an All-Pro nod, and he happens to be a fan favorite.

Derius Davis was selected to the Second All-Pro team as a punt returner. Davis has been an incredible special teams contributor.
Davis averaged 16 yards per punt return and 22 yards per kickoff return. He also scored an 87-yard touchdown against the Jets.

Davis was selected by the Chargers in the fourth round, coming over from TCU. Despite not being utilized more in the passing game, his special teams contributions have been phenomenal.
The future is bright for the young WR, and the hope is he can continue to carve out a larger role in the passing game next season. At the very least, he will be a dangerous returner after his rookie season produced an All-Pro nod.
