Fan tackled after running onto field during Super Bowl LVI
Apparently the tackling being done at the Super Bowl was not limited to players. Cincinnati Enquirer-USA TODAY Sports

A fan made the unfortunate decision to run onto the field during a break in the action in Super Bowl LVI, and that fan certainly got what they deserved.

The incident, which was not shown on the NBC broadcast, took place early in the third quarter just after Tee Higgins’ go-ahead touchdown. The fan actually made it pretty far before security finally managed to corral them.

We don’t know exactly what happened after, but presumably the fan will be facing some legal issues.

People running on the field during the Super Bowl is almost a yearly occurrence at this point. On the bright side, this year’s interloper was more clothed than last year’s, but that makes it a bit less exciting.
