Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears aim to surpass their 2025 season achievements. They won the NFC North with an 11-6 record and reached the Divisional Round. However, the Los Angeles Rams eliminated them 20-17 in overtime.
The franchise will have extra challenges in its pursuit of a Super Bowl next season. The NFL released its full schedule on May 14, with the Bears facing the toughest slate. Williams and Co. must stay healthy and perform at their best to achieve a deeper playoff run.
Chicago will play seven primetime games, including on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. The schedule gives the Bears a chance to showcase their improvement on the national stage and prove why many believe they’re a serious contender.
The Bears will host the New England Patriots in Week 7 at Soldier Field. On Saturday, the NFL posted an update on Instagram featuring Williams and Drake Maye.

Fans expressed mixed reactions in the comments section. Some expect Maye to dominate, while others believe Williams will shine brighter.
“Caleb was the most inaccurate QB in all of football last year. A couple flashy plays doesn’t make him a great QB,” a fan wrote.
“DRAKE MAYE BY 50! BABY GOAT IN THE MAKING AND I LIKE WILLIAMS TOO NO LIE!” a user said.
“Caleb Williams by 2 tds,” posted another.
“Patriots will win 26-10. Caleb is overrated asf,” one reaction read
“drake was only good cause of the schedule,” another fan wrote.
“Drizzy will pop off, I like Caleb too .. Drake is just a hair better rn,” one user commented.
The reigning AFC champions aim to avenge their Super Bowl loss last season. Maye will also look to build on his impressive 2025 campaign, but Chicago’s defense won’t make it easy.
Meanwhile, Williams has a chance to continue silencing his doubters and lead the Bears to more success. Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m.ET, and Prime Video will broadcast the game live.
