We’re back for another exciting week of NFL football as we get ready to dive into the waiver wire to find some gems. With many owners checking out because they’re going to miss the playoffs, this could be your chance to add some defensive players who will help you win this season. That means you’ll have less competition to compete with, and you could even find a dropped player that you could use on defense. That being said, let’s get to this week’s pick-ups of the week, so that you can slay your competition. Have a great day, everyone, and may the tackles be with you.
Alex Singleton isn’t an unpopular linebacker, so being 33 percent owned is just about right. Normally, Singleton would be above 50 percent, but he missed a game before the Broncos‘ bye week. I would pick him up immediately since he will be facing a lot of teams that will run plays in his direction. With Singleton normally getting 100 percent of snaps, this is a move you can make now and feel confident in for the rest of the fantasy season.
I brought up Drake Thomas recently, but he is still owned in only three percent of leagues. In the past two games, Thomas has matched his previous three games, which is a sign that he’s heating up. The only problem is his snap count, which is normally above 60 percent, but that was because the Seahawks locked up the Vikings completely. I would add Thomas immediately before someone else beats you to him.
