We’ve finally reached the last week of bye weeks, which also marks the end of the regular season for many fantasy leagues. Those of us who need to win to make the playoffs will have to do so without some impactful young quarterbacks like Drake Maye and Jaxson Dart. We’ll also be missing Brock Purdy and Bryce Young in deeper, super-flex leagues. The situation is a bit of a minefield, as many of our standard top ten options face tough matchups in week 14. Will that influence how we rank them? Let’s take a look at this week’s top 10 list and find out.
It’s a bit ironic that the best fantasy QB in the league also has one of the best matchups for the week. The overall QB1 gets to take on a Bengals defense that isn’t very good at stopping anything. I expect Buffalo to have their way with Cincy this weekend, and Allen will score plenty of points in the first half before James Cook takes over and has his monster day. The Bills have the highest projected team total for the week according to Vegas, so get any Bills that you trust into your lineup. The list is a short one, but Josh Allen and James Cook are certainly both on it.
The first game of the week also happens to have the highest projected point total as Dallas and Detroit will lock horns at Ford Field this Thursday Night. Detroit will likely jump out to a lead at home, and Dak will be throwing it all game to keep pace. It’s a great matchup against the Lions and their banged-up secondary. Fire up all of your Cowboys.
