Fantasy football Waiver Wire Adds for Week 10
Kevin Jairaj-Imagn Images

The waiver wire is starting to dwindle for options to feel even remotely excited about. We have had some stellar standouts in our previous waiver wire adds, from Rico Dowdle to Sam Darnold, Harold Fannin Jr. and last week with Joe Flacco and Alec Pierce.

For the following waiver wire adds, the player has to be owned by 60% of teams or less, and this week we go with one player at quarterback and one at each flex-position spot to add if you’re in a pinch ahead of your Week 10 matchup and potentially going forward.

Quarterback

Jacoby Brissett, Cardinals: The Arizona Cardinals have looked better with Brissett at the helm than with Kyler Murray. Now, Murray is going on IR. Brissett continues to look comfortable, and other fantasy owners should rejoice as Marvin Harrison Jr. and McBride look strong again with Brissett.

The veteran QB can sling the ball, and in his three starts, has scored 19+ fantasy points. He put up over 20 with his effort last week against the Cowboys, with 261 passing yards and two scores, and added a rushing touchdown. Brissett has also had multiple TD passes in each of his starts. Keep expectations lower for Week 10, though, going against the tough Seattle defense.

Running back

Bhayshul Tuten, Jaguars: Tuten finally got some workload in the Jaguars’ backfield. He had the most touches in a game since Week 2 in Jacksonville’s Week 9 overtime win over the Raiders.

Tuten had nine carries for 29 yards and a touchdown and added a reception. While Travis Etienne is the clear No. 1 running back in Jacksonville, the hope is that Tuten can continue to see an uptick in touches and be counted on for 10 touches a game.

Wide receiver

Olamide Zaccheaus, Bears: Zaccheaus appears to be starting to be an emerging part of the Bears’ offense. In Week 8, he received seven targets, matching a season-high from Week 1. Last week, Zaccheaus set a new mark with eight targets from Caleb Williams.

Zacchaeus getting 15 targets in two weeks is hard to ignore at this point of the year. He has become a reliable target for Williams. Zaccheaus had season-highs with six catches and 58 yards last week vs. Cincinnati and snagged his first touchdown of the year. On the season, Zaccheaus has 31 catches for 243 yards and a touchdown, and his arrow is pointing up.

Tight end

Luke Musgrave, Packers: We have covered most tight ends worthy of adding who are under 60% owned in fantasy leagues. Musgrave is about the only one we haven’t mentioned who, with the season-ending injury to Tucker Kraft, should see a big role increase in the Packers offense. The Packers’ second-round pick in 2023 had three catches for 34 yards in their recent 16-13 loss to Carolina last week.

Musgrave will now be the first tight end on the Packers’ depth chart. Musgrave could prove to be a serviceable replacement to Kraft’s nearly six targets per game before Week 9.

While Musgrave only has nine catches for 88 yards on the season, the Packers can be a high-powered offense, and Kraft’s targets will have to go somewhere. Musgrave could be a low-risk, high-reward late-season pickup for your fantasy football team.
