Fantasy football playoffs are quickly approaching, so teams fighting for playoff spots can't afford any duds at this point in the season. We're here to help with our five players who could fall short of their projections in NFL Week 10.
Lawrence has been a solid fantasy quarterback this season, but you might want to find a better option in Week 10. Not only do the Texans rank first in the NFL in points allowed per game (15.1), completion percentage allowed (56.7%) and fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks, but Lawrence will also be missing WR Travis Hunter and possibly Brian Thomas Jr. on Sunday. Lawrence went 20-of-40 and scored only 7.78 fantasy points against Houston in Week 3.
Hall is coming off a monster 32.86-point performance against the Cincinnati Bengals, but a Pop Warner player could run for 100 yards against that defense. This is a much different animal against the Browns, which rank second in the NFL in yards allowed per rush (3.6) and fantasy points allowed to running backs. Hall has already put up a few stinkers against stronger defenses, and this could be another.
You're never benching Smith-Njigba, but you might want to temper expectations in this matchup against the division-rival Cardinals. In a 23-20 loss to the 49ers in Week 4, Arizona held Smith-Njigba to a season-low 79 yards and 13 fantasy points, and that was without cornerback Will Johnson in the lineup. Johnson should be good to go in Week 10, giving the Cardinals another weapon to slow down JSN.
Keenan Allen continues to lose playing time as the team works in Tre Harris as a run-blocker and part-time receiver, and the Oronde Gadsden era keeps on rolling.

The days of Allen being a no-doubt starter in fantasy football may be behind us. The veteran wide receiver has only 10 targets, six catches and 85 receiving yards over his last two games, but that's not the most concerning part. Allen has been relegated to just three-WR sets in this offense, as he's played only 37% and 25%of the team's offensive snaps in the last two games. Allen is nothing more than a risky flex play in Week 10.
Hockenson isn't a big part of this Vikings passing game with J.J. McCarthy running the show. In McCarthy's three starts, he's targeted his tight end only 10 times and connected with him just six times for 38 yards. Hockenson managed only two catches in Week 9, but a touchdown saved him from a disastrous fantasy day. He's a touchdown-dependent dart throw until proven otherwise.
