Final Cleveland Browns 2025 NFL Mock Draft: All eyes are on the big prize at pick No. 2

Tomorrow the real thing is finally here. The 2025 NFL Draft will start and we’ll have three days of selections going on.

This is a special draft for the Cleveland Browns because they finally have a first-round pick again. After giving their last three first-round selections to the Houston Texans in the Deshaun Watson trade, the Browns will finally make a first-round pick again.

Let’s take one last crack at a mock draft before the real thing.

Round 1, Pick 2: WR/CB Travis Hunter, Colorado

The Browns have to decide against trading down to make this happen, which they should. Hunter is an elite athlete who will help the Browns improve a terrible offense from a year ago. On the other side of the ball, he can give them quality snaps at cornerback when needed. It’s an easy pick at this point.

Round 2, Pick 33: QB Jalen Milroe, Alabama

The Browns are in a position where they can take a QB with high upside that they want to develop. With Joe Flacco and Lenny Pickett on the roster, Cleveland won’t be forced to start a rookie. Milroe needs to work on his accuracy and decision-making, but he has all the physical tools in the world. His past connection with Tommy Rees helps here.

Round 3, Pick 67: RB Quinshon Judkins, Ohio State

Cleveland needs a starting-caliber running back in this draft and Judkins would give them that. A back with the ability to stay on the field for three downs, Judkins is a physical bruiser with underrated speed. Productive in both the Big Ten and SEC and should be a good pro.

Round 3, Pick 94: OT Charles Grant, William & Mary

In an ideal world, the Browns will have Dawand Jones healthy at left tackle and Jack Conklin at right tackle this season. Still, the Browns need another young tackle to eventually take over for Conklin. Grant is an athletic tackle who could fit the bill.

Round 4, Pick 104: DL Jared Ivey, Ole Miss

After using the first four picks on the offensive side of the ball, here is a defensive pick. Ivey can play inside in addition to coming off the edge and has consistently improved in the college ranks. Another body for the Browns and Jim Schwartz up front.

Round 6, Pick 179: TE Luke Lachey, Iowa

Lachey has Ohio ties and is a better athlete than testing shows. The former Division I basketball recruit is a good enough blocker and can find value as a secondary pass catcher. Injuries hurt Lachey in college, or else he’d be going earlier.

Round 6, Pick 192: S Malachi Moore, Alabama

After losing both Juan Thornhill and D’Anthony Belk this off-season, the Browns need to add a safety still. Moore played a ton of football at Alabama as a five-year contributor and could give the Browns needed depth.

Round 6, Pick 200: LB Jack Kiser, Notre Dame

I like where the Browns stand at linebacker but they need to continue adding with the health of Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah being a question mark going forward. Kiser is a smart linebacker who is just a ball player.

Round 6, Pick 216: OL Jake Majors, Texas

The Browns grab some interior depth here. 2025 is likely the last go around for Joel Bitonio and Wyatt Teller is only under contract through 2026. You’re not replacing either of those players this late in the draft, but you still need to add at the position.

Round 7, Pick 255: Trade for a future seventh from the Falcons

This could be a situation where the Browns don’t make all 10 picks and opt to move one ahead to next year. Atlanta has less picks this season, so perhaps they want another swing late.
