The Los Angeles Chargers are on a red-hot streak, standing as one of the remaining six teams with an undefeated record at 3-0.
With the team heading to The Meadowlands to play against a staunch Giants team that’s better than what their record shows, here’s a full rundown on the injury status of this Chargers team, looking to remain perfect in this promising season.
WR | Derius Davis (Knee)
The former second-team All-Pro returner has not looked like himself, having been dealing with a nagging knee injury thus far in the season.

He also had a costly fumble on the kickoff to open up the second half against the Denver Broncos in Week 3, so taking this game off could pay dividends long-term as he recalibrates both mentally and physically.
WR Ladd McConkey and RB Hassan Haskins will likely pick up the slack, though the latter has been targeted by opposing special team units as he’s a less dynamic returner, which could signal the use of rookie WR KeAndre Lambert-Smith in that role.
TE | Will Dissly (Knee)
Starting TE Will Dissly will miss his second consecutive game, dealing with a knee injury, meaning the Los Angeles Chargers will be without their primary blocking TE. Tight Ends Tucker Fisk and Oronde Gadsden II filled in admirably in the blocking and receiving departments, respectively, so the offense should be in good hands.
RG | Mekhi Becton (Concussion)
Becton suffered a head injury midway through the Broncos game and wasn’t able to return. He still hasn’t passed the NFL’s concussion protocol, which is why he’ll miss this contest.
OL Jamaree Salyer, who filled in for Becton last game, will get the nod instead, bringing tons of starting experience at LT and LG.
C – Bradley Bozeman (Back)
S – Elijah Molden (Hamstring)
With questionable designations for both Bozeman and Molden, they both should be good to go. The starting center came up with the back issue during the Broncos game, but was able to play through it, while Molden has missed the past two weeks, which has given him ample time to recover.
