Find out what Nigel Bradham’s Super Bowl ring and Malcolm Jenkins’ Game-worn jersey sold for
Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

Two former Eagles players caught headlines this past week for reasons that would’ve sparked intrigued for the more financially free Birds’ fans, and some weird emotions for everyone else. It was announced that Nigel Bradham would be auctioning his 2017 Super Bowl Ring, and Malcolm Jenkins would be auctioning his game worn Super Bowl jersey. The two items were officially sold this past weekend at Goldin’s October Legends Elite auction.

What did the Eagles’ Super Bowl gear sell for?

The one-of-a-kind Ring sold for $80,520, while Jenkins’ game-worn jersey sold for $69,540. Apparently, that was more than $20,000 above the expected price.

I don’t know about you, but I would much rather own a Super Bowl jersey worn by a player like Malcolm Jenkins rather than a ring. The same jersey he made marquee plays in. I couldn’t imagine a more special piece of memorabilia to frame and display than a game-worn jersey, let alone a Super Bowl-winning one in comparison to a ring you’ll never wear.

With that said, when the Eagles came to London, I was lucky enough to wear a Super Bowl ring thanks to a very kind member of the team. It was a truly remarkable piece but I was absolutely terrified I’d drop it or damage it.

Anyway, I also find it kind of crazy that at the very same auction, a Brock Purdy rookie card sold for $122,000. Who is paying over $100k for a CARD when you could almost buy both a Super Bowl ring and jersey for a fraction more?!

The Goldin’s October Legends Elite auction closed with nearly $10M in total sales, with items from Football, Baseball, and Hockey legends.
