Shedeur Sanders on Friday gave Cleveland Browns fans their first glimpse of his ability.

Sanders attended workouts at Browns’ rookie minicamp and was captured on video doing his thing. He threw a wobbly duck off his back foot on the first throw that was shared in a video by Camryn Justice. But after that, Sanders did what he does best, which is complete short passes. He showed excellent accuracy on those short passes, which took place mostly without defenders around.

Sanders slipped to the 5th round of the draft, which was a stunning result. Even the Browns seemed to be surprised by Sanders’ slide considering they drafted quarterback Dillon Gabriel in the third round (No. 94 overall).

We also know that Shedeur is not receiving the attention you would expect for a typical 5th-round pick. There was some belief that he had the talent to be a top-10 pick. His famous father Deion certainly made everyone think Shedeur was going to be a first-round pick. Given all the hype surrounding Shedeur, don’t expect to see a drop in attention paid toward him.

Here is a video that shows Sanders and Gabriel taking turns throwing:
