Former Alabama football quarterback, Jalen Hurts continues to win.

The win is the Eagles’ 15th straight win when Jalen Hurts starts and finish a game.

Hurts led the Eagles to a 24-20 win over the New England Patriots on Thursday night to kick off the 2025 football season. He completed 19-of-23 passes for 152 yards and added 62 yards on the ground and two rushing touchdowns in the win.

The Super Bowl Champion told The Athletic that he was feeling more confident ahead of the season.

“Yeah. When you get a promotion, do you think you’re more confident?” Hurts asked. “You chase a dream, and everybody’s dream is to do that, and once you know you can, it brings a sense of assurance that you can. … It’s a matter of, if I’ve done it before, why couldn’t I do it again?”

Philadelphia will travel to Kansas City next week for a Super Bowl rematch against the Chiefs.
