Nearly two months after the Chicago Bears fired him, Ryan Pace has found a new job. The Atlanta Falcons reportedly hired Pace as a senior personnel executive.
This isn’t a totally surprising announcement. Current Falcons general manager Terry Fontenot worked with Ryan Pace in New Orleans. Their history together obviously lent some credibility to this decision.
Furthermore, Pace is joining another former Chicago Bears front office executive. The GM Pace took over for in Chicago, Phil Emery, is also a senior personnel executive for the Atlanta Falcons.

Ryan Pace was unemployed for nearly two months and has found a new home. Whether or not he finds any success is irrelevant. The fact is that he failed in Chicago and the never-ending carousel of front office executives continues on. Pace wasn’t exactly a fan-favorite GM in Chicago. But he still got the benefit of the doubt on numerous occasions, enough to warrant another chance in the NFL.
The Bears and Ryan Pace ended their relationship after seven years and only one winning season. Depending on how his tenure in Atlanta proceeds, he may get another chance at a GM position in the NFL.
