Former Bengals Coach to Interview for Patriots Defensive Coordinator Job

Former Bengals linebackers coach Tem Lukabu will interview to be the Patriots defensive coordinator according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. 

The Patriots will officially introduce Jerod Mayo as their head coach on Wednesday. Then, he'll interview Lukabu, who is currently serving as the Panthers outside linebackers coach, for their vacant defensive coordinator position. 

Lukabu, 42, was the Bengals linebackers coach in 2019, Zac Taylor's first season with the team. He was Boston College’s defensive coordinator from 2020-22 and joined the Panthers staff prior to the 2023 season.
