Amid ongoing debate surrounding the 2024 Philadelphia Eagles, former Denver Broncos All-Pro Chris Harris Jr. chimed in. On "Good Morning Football" on NFL Network, Harris was asked whether the 2024 Eagles team could be considered an all-time team. His answer was a bold one, and it pertained to his own 2015 Broncos Super Bowl team.

"I challenge them versus my Super Bowl 50 team, right? I feel like we had a hard-earned road to get to the Super Bowl, going against Tom Brady, Big-Ben Roethlisberger, and then Cam Newton."
Harris brings up a point of how his own team, the Super Bowl 50 champion Broncos, had a tough road to the Super Bowl. In comparison, while the Eagles also faced a tough road, Harris believes his own team stacks up when looking at their respective competition.
While the Broncos only played in three postseason games, they did so because they secured a bye week. The Eagles played in four games, as they missed the one seed and the bye, being forced to play the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card round.
Harris' main point is the path both teams faced. While the Eagles played one more game, they didn't face teams at the peak of their ability. Meanwhile, Harris sees the Broncos' opponents as a more challenging path.
Tom Brady is arguably the greatest quarterback in NFL history, and the Broncos beat him a year before Brady led the New England Patriots to three-straight Super Bowl appearances.
Harris' Broncos also faced the Pittsburgh Steelers with Ben Roethlisberger, and Cam Newton in his MVP season with the Carolina Panthers. The Eagles, meanwhile, faced Jordan Love, Matthew Stafford, Jayden Daniels, and Patrick Mahomes.
While not an easy stretch of games, Harris believes that the Broncos' stretch is comparable at worst to the Eagles' path to the Super Bowl.
The hotly contested debate began with Saquon Barkley claiming on the Exciting Mics podcast that the 2024 Eagles team was a top-five team all-time.

Harris doesn't shut that down completely, saying, "Let's wait 10-15 years to see if this team is a top-5 team..." But he followed it up by comparing the 2024 Eagles to the 2015 Broncos team. Both showcased incredible defensive performances against all-time great quarterbacks in the playoffs.
While there is no clear-cut answer to the question of who's a top-5 team all-time, the cases for both the 2024 Eagles and 2015 Broncos are strong.
