Former Broncos' weapon is having the same issue with his new team

One former Denver Broncos player is having the same issues with his new team that he had in Denver. Honestly, it's sad, too.

The Denver Broncos drafted wide receiver KJ Hamler in 2020. The speedy receiver played in 13 games his rookie year but played just 23 total games in his three-year career with the Broncos.

Hamler was once a fan favorite because of his speed and talent. The Broncos had something special with Hamler, as he showed in his rookie season with nearly 400 receiving yards.

Hamler dealt with a ton of injuries and even had some injuries this offseason that he couldn't handle. The Broncos added Hamler to the non-football injury list. Then, the Broncos waived KJ Hamler with NFI designation after the wide receiver was diagnosed with pericarditis.

Since then, the Indianapolis Colts have signed him to their practice squad. On Friday, the Colts placed Hamler on the practice squad injured list.

Hamler just cannot seem to catch a beak, and it's sad, really.
