Former Buffalo Bills cornerback Vontae Davis found dead at age 35
USA TODAY Sports

Former Buffalo Bills cornerback Vontae Davis was found dead on Monday. Police say there are no signs of foul play.

Davis was drafted in 2009 by the Miami Dolphins in the first round with the 25th overall pick out of Illinois.

He made his name known at the NFL level very quickly, intercepting four passes as a rookie, and totaling nine picks in his three years with the Dolphins before getting traded to the Indianapolis Colts.

Davis spent the next six years of his career with the Colts, intercepting nineteen passes and becoming a two-time Pro Bowl selection in 2014 and 2015.

He joined the Bills in 2018, where he infamously retired at halftime of Buffalo's Week 1 loss to the Baltimore Ravens
