Former Chiefs wide receiver finds new home with 49ers in free agency

DeMarcus Robinson enjoyed a very effective season with the L.A. Rams in 2024, so it's no surprise to see the former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver extend his career within the same division. Reports have Robinson signing with the San Francisco 49ers on a two-year contract worth a reported $9.5 million. Robinson proved to be a valuable contributor for the Rams last season with 7 receiving touchdowns. Robinson became far more important for Matthew Stafford and the Rams' offense after injuries affected the wide receiver room, and the veteran wideout took full advantage of the greater amount of reps and targets. Robinson set a few career marks last season with the Rams, including targets (64), yards per catch (16.3), and touchdowns (7). Before joining the Niners, Robinson spent the first six seasons of his NFL career with the Chiefs.
