James Bradberry plays in the shadows opposite star cornerback Darius Slay, but the former Giant's strong play is one of the reasons the Eagles defense has allowed the ninth-fewest points, third-fewest yards and forced the most turnovers (10) through four weeks.
In four games, Bradberry has 10 tackles, four passes deflected and a pick-six among two interceptions. On 24 targets, the 29-year-old has allowed 11 catches for 96 yards and held opponents without a touchdown as the primary defender, per Pro Football Reference.

— AJ Brown Szn (@BirdsNSpurs) October 4, 2022While salary cap issues were almost certainly New York's reason for allowing Bradberry to walk, their loss is the Eagles' gain.

In the offseason, Bradberry signed a one-year, $7.5 million deal with incentives with the Eagles. If he continues his strong play, he could earn an even bigger deal this offseason.
