The NFL is slowly but surely rolling out its list of Top 100 players, and former Georgia Bulldogs star and current Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey was one of the first names to be released.
McConkey comes in at No. 100.

The Chargers selected McConkey with the 34th overall pick in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
It did not take long for McConkey to make an immediate impact during his rookie season in LA. He hauled in 82 receptions for 1,149 yards and seven touchdowns. His standout performance included breaking the Chargers' rookie franchise record for most receptions and receiving yards in a single season, surpassing Keenan Allen's previous record. In the Wild Card Round of the playoffs, McConkey also set an NFL record for most receiving yards by a rookie in a single postseason game, with nine receptions for 197 yards and a touchdown.
No heading into Year 2, reports say McConkey has added five pounds of muscle and somehow looks even faster than he did as a rookie. On top of that, he’s been spending a lot more time with quarterback Justin Herbert, and the two are clicking more than ever. That growing connection, along with McConkey’s physical gains, has people around the team thinking he could be in for a big jump this season.
While there are a lot of high expectations for McConkey this fall, he refused to get caught up in the hype or pressure and is sticking to what’s always worked for him.
"Tunnel vision. Put the blinders on and just keep looking ahead," McConkey said via the team's website. "I'm going to have good days, I'm going to have bad days, so don't get too high, don't get too low and just play my game.
"That's kind of how I always approached it since I've been younger and it's worked out for me. So I'm just going to keep doing that."
