The Buffalo Bills just wrapped up rookie minicamp, where wide receiver Keon Coleman was the most anticipated rookie to see take the field over the weekend.
Even after Buffalo drafted Coleman, though, they were still without a second proven perimeter threat, specifically a deep threat, and that is a need they seem to be attempting to address.
Former Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling is in Buffalo visiting the Bills, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Former Chiefs WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling — who recently visited with the Chargers — is in Buffalo tonight meeting with the Bills, per source.

Valdes-Scanting is coming off a down year. Even though he won a pair of Super Bowls with the Chiefs, last season he hauled in just 21 receptions and one touchdown. In 2022, he caught a career-high 42 passes for 687 yards and two touchdowns.
Valdes-Scantling's best year came in 2020 while with the Packers, where he caught 33 passes for 690 yards and a career-high six touchdowns. Should Buffalo sign the USF product, it will likely be to fill the Gabe Davis role of being a pure deep threat.
