Former LSU All-American wide receiver, Ja'Marr Chase, just signed the biggest non-quarterback deal in NFL history.
The former Tiger inked a four-year, 161 million dollar deal with the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon and is getting 112 million dollars fully guaranteed. His counterpart, Tee Higgins, also signed a massive four-year, 115 million dollar deal.

Even though he only played two seasons, Ja'Marr Chase is one of the most decorated receivers to walk the halls at LSU Football Operations. The former All-American won the 2019 Biletnikoff Award and a national championship with the team before opting out in 2020 and declaring for the NFL Draft.
Chase was selected fifth overall by the Bengals and instantly became a superstar. As a rookie, Chase caught 81 balls for 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns. He helped lead the Bengals to the Super Bowl, where he caught five passes for 89 yards. He beat Jalen Ramsey on the final play for a potential touchdown, but Joe Burrow was already under pressure and couldn't get the football out.
Chase had a couple more 1,000+ yard seasons in 2022 and 2023, but had an absolutely massive year in 2024. He won the receiving triple crown while catching 127 passes for 1,708 yards and 17 scores. Despite that, the Bengals still missed the playoffs.
There was a lot of speculation this offseason about whether or not the Bengals could keep both Chase and Higgins around, but after Joe Burrow basically called out their front office, they got the deals done.
Chase is now not only the highest-paid receiver, but the highest paid non-QB in the sport, and he deserves every penny he got.
