The NFL universe is currently buzzing following a massive trade between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins, a deal centered around First-Team All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey, tight end Jonnu Smith, and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the full details of the trade include both Ramsey and Smith, along with a 2027 seventh-round pick, being sent to Pittsburgh in exchange for Minkah Fitzpatrick (also an All-Pro) and a 2027 fifth-round pick.

Immediately following the trade, former Dolphins Pro Bowl running back Raheem Mostert didn’t hold back, posting a heated message on X where he fired shots at his former team.

“Hot take: Be a Pro-bowler on the Dolphins, get treated like sh*t,” Mostert wrote. “Happy for my guys though! GO BALL OUT!!”

Mostert, who now is a member of the Las Vegas Raiders, spent three seasons with Miami (2022-2024), rushing for 2,181 yards and 23 touchdowns, including a franchise-record 18 scores in 2023.

After playing for five different teams, he finally found a home under head coach Mike McDaniel shortly after joining the Dolphins. Alongside Tyreek Hill, who also mourned Ramsey's departure, his speed and agility complemented Miami's exciting offense well. He finished the 2024 season with 814 yards and left in free agency.

Ramsey joins David Long Jr. (released), Terron Armstead (retired), and Calais Campbell (Cardinals) as the fourth Dolphins captain from last season’s team to leave.
