Former NFL player just said the most laughable thing about Patrick Mahomes

Patrick Mahomes is a lot of things. He's a two-time MVP receipient, three-time Super Bowl champion, and the best quarterback in Kansas City Chiefs history. If he retired right now, he'd be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. All of these things are true.

According to former NFL linebacker and current analyst Emmanuel Acho, however, there's something that Mahomes isn't the best at. It's understandable that Mahomes won't be the best at everything but who Acho had ahead of Mahomes is a bit puzzling, as he said that Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is the best "processor" in the NFL.

"Tua is a baller cerebrally. I do not think there's a better processor in the NFL than Tua Tagovailoa... Pat [Mahomes] included, Josh [Allen] included, Lamar [Jackson] included. I do not think there's a quarterback that plays on better time than Tua," Acho said.

Emmanuel Acho gives Tua Tagovailoa the edge over Patrick Mahomes in this category

Acho is obviously entitled to his own opinion and hey, maybe Tagovailoa is the best processor in the league but the fact of the matter is that if that is the case, it hasn't led to success for the Dolphins. Meanwhile, Mahomes and the Chiefs continue to win big games (something the Dolphins have been unable to do) and have been to five of the last six Super Bowls.

It's fine that Mahomes isn't the best at everything but it is interesting that this award would go to Tua considering the circumstances. Mahomes has been able to knock out pretty much anything thrown his way during his soon-to-be nine-year NFL career while Tagovailoa still has a ways to go to prove that he was even worthy of Miami picking him in the first round.

Again, Acho is entitled to his opinions. But facts are facts and Mahomes not being considered the better processor here hasn't hurt his NFL career, which is great news for Chiefs fans and bad news for the rest of the league.
