Former NFL Quarterback Loves Idea of Bengals Trading Up for Brock Bowers

NFL tight end prospect Brock Bowers met the measurement markers at the 2024 NFL Combine and he's cementing himself as one of the best offensive weapons in this draft cycle.

Former NFL quarterback Chase Daniel would love to see him with the Bengals and noted they might need to trade up into the top 15 picks to get him.

"He reminds me catching the football and after the catch of George Kittle," Daniel said on NFL Network. "Yes, I said George Kittle because he is a playmaking threat like that. Like a perennial Pro Bowl-type guy. The question is, is he gonna go in the top 10? If he's not, there's a lot of other skilled players like our receiver, quarterbacks Offensive Tackles, and if he's around, they're in that 12 to 14 range. Are the Bengals going to go up and get him because the Bengals have no tight ends, whatsoever? Can you pair him with Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and obviously Joe Burrow? I would love to see it. I'm sure since fans would love to see it as well."

The Bengals are currently projected to take Texas tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders in the second round on the consensus big board, with the Chargers selecting Bowers at No. 6.
