Former NFL Star Claims Tom Brady Got Hair Transplant Before FOX Debut

Tom Brady is a little over one week away from calling his first Super Bowl as a broadcaster with FOX. Brady is no stranger to the big stage after making a record 10 Super Bowl appearances in his career, and he showed that he was able to get the job done by winning in seven.

Brady will face a new challenge next week as he approaches the big game from a different perspective, but one former NFL star believes he made an offseason trip to give himself an advantage.

During a discussion Friday morning on New York City's WFAN Radio, former quarterback Boomer Esiason and his co-hosts discussed the trend of men going to Turkey for hair transplants.

"I’ve been telling you about this since Tom Brady came back with a full head of hair,” the former Bengals star said.

Other commentators have owned up to getting hair transplants to keep up their on-air appearance, including Joe Buck. The voice of "Monday Night Football" on ESPN shared that he was undergoing hair transplant treatments ahead of his debut with the network.

“Training camp doesn’t just start for players,” he said in an Instagram post showing doctors working on his hair.

"New network, newly arranged follicles. Hello ESPN!!! Cannot wait for September 12, and for this green to wash out of my hair. I promise I’ll look normal-ish by week 1. Oh and why four people for one head??? It’s a big head!"

Buck also suffered complications during a procedure in 2011, admitting in his book that a breathing tube led to his vocal cord paralysis that year.

“Broadcasting is a brutal, often unfair business, where looks are valued more than skill,” Buck said in the memoir.

Brady hasn't alluded to any procedures before the season like Buck, but he has attributed his relatively youthful appearance to a clean diet and workout regimen.

Esiason and some other fans aren't buying it, but Brady's longevity on the field seems to point to his ability to keep himself in the best shape possible. He may not have to be in NFL shape anymore, but making sure he looks the best on TV appears to be a priority for the seven-time Super Bowl champion.
