Former NFL Star Julian Edelman Picks Joe Burrow to Lead His Hypothetical Offense Over Every NFL Quarterback

Joe Burrow took the top spot to be the quarterback of choice for Julian Edelman on the latest Dudes on Dudes Podcast. The former New England Patriots star wide receiver discussed which current quarterback he'd like to run a Patriots-filled offense most and Burrow was the pick.

He chatted about the topic with Rob Gronkowski during the show, with the stipulation that they couldn't pick their old quarterback, Tom Brady.

I would love Josh Allen, but I'd love to have Burrow," Edelman said. "You would love to have (Patrick) Mahomes, ouroffense is a little different, there's a little more dropback pass. ... I don't want someone running as much as Mahomes on those third downs I want them throwing because I want those third downs."

High praise to pick Burrow among any quarterback ever. Gronkowski went with Josh Allen as his choice during the fun hypothetical.
