Ex-Pro Bowl cornerback Pacman Jones has reportedly pleaded not guilty to his most recent set of criminal charges stemming from an incident in Kentucky last week.

According to TMZ Sports, Jones faces three charges including one count of assaulting a police officer, one count of public intoxication and one count of disorderly conduct after authorities say she showed signs of intoxication and screamed "obscenities" at officers prior to his arrest.

When police took the former NFL star into custody at a nearby Northern KY jail, Jones allegedly elbowed one of the policeman in the face which led to a statement from the Covington Police Department.

"The Covington Police Dept. takes incidents of this nature very seriously," the station said. "We are committed to maintaining peace and ensuring the safety of all who live in or visit Covington. Adam Jones is being held to the same standard of conduct as any other individual in our community."

A representative for Pacman pushed back on those claims. Saying, "Adam did nothing wrong other than exercise his right to ask why he was being detained."

Jones was the sixth overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft and pretty quickly established himself as a playmaker worthy of a top-10 selection.

However, off-field issues have followed him throughout his career outside of a mostly clean eight-year run in Cincinnati and led to him being out of the league in both 2007 and 2009.

Jones' last arrest came following the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight in November of 2024, when he was cited for similar counts in Arlington, Texas.

The 41-year-old played for the Titans, Cowboys, Bengals and Broncos across 12 professional seasons following a standout career at West Virginia.
