Jordan Love got married over the weekend. The Green Bay Packers quarterback had a beautiful ceremony to celebrate love with volleyball player Ronika Stone, and as expected, several Packers players and former players were there.

One of them is former Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari , who hasn't been signed by any NFL team since being released by Green Bay 15 months ago. On social media, Bakhtiari sent a cool message to Love, while also making fun of another of his former quarterbacks, Aaron Rodgers—who recently mentioned he also got married.

"Love is love. Congrats to the Loves," Bakhtiari wrote. "Just happy at least one of my quarterbacks invited me to their wedding."

Recently, Aaron Rodgers revealed that he got married as well before signing a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers for what may be his final playing season.

"It's a wedding ring. It's been a few months," Rodgers told the media. He opted not to give the external public many details about his relationship.

Short time together

David Bakhtiari was drafted by the Packers in 2013 and spent the majority of his career with Aaron Rodgers at quarterback. When Rodgers got traded to the New York Jets, though, Bakhtiari was still with the team.

He was the starting left tackle in Jordan Love's first game as a full-time starter in 2023, against the Chicago Bears. However, that ended up being Bakhtiari's last game with the franchise—and so far, in the league.

Curiously, Bakhtiari wasn't on the field for Love's first NFL start back in 2021, when Rodgers had covid and Love had to play on short notice. The left tackle was injured, and the tackles for that game were Elgton Jenkins and Billy Turner. The interior of the line had Royce Newman, Lucas Patrick, and Jon Runyan—you can see why Love faced so much pressure on that day.

David Bakhtiari and Aaron Rodgers are super close friends, and it's normal for them to make jokes about one another on social media. Late last year, for example, the offensive lineman roasted Rodgers for his record with the New York Jets.

They played together for 10 years in Green Bay.
