Former Pro Bowl WR announces retirement

After 11 seasons in the NFL, wide receiver Allen Robinson has decided to retire.

Robinson announced his decision in a video on his Instagram on Monday. The video was nearly nine minutes long, and it began with his young career in 2001, all the way until his final stint in the NFL.

Former Pro Bowl WR Allen Robinson is officially retiring from the NFL after 11 seasons, as he announced on IG.

Robinson finishes his outstanding career with 565 catches, 7,058 yards, and 43 TDs.

Robinson began his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars. They selected him in the second round at No. 61 overall.

Robinson spent the first four seasons with the Jaguars before playing four years with the Chicago Bears. His lone Pro Bowl appearance came in 2015 with the Jaguars when he caught 80 passes for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns, setting career highs in multiple categories.

Robinson then spent 2022 with the Los Angeles Rams, 2023 with the Pittsburgh Steelers and 2024 with the Detroit Lions, although he had just three catches in his lone season with Detroit.

On opening night in 2025, Robinson made a public pitch to the Kansas City Chiefs after Xavier Worthy’s injury, although nobody ended up giving him a chance.

Allen Robinson finishes his NFL career with a total of 565 catches, 7,058 yards, and 43 TDs.
