Former New Orleans Saints wide receiver Keith Kirkwood was officially re-signed by the Baltimore Ravens this past Wednesday.
A collegiate wideout at Hawaii (2013) and Temple (2014-2017), Kirkwood caught 103 passes for 1,638 yards and 16 touchdowns over four years. After going undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, he was originally signed by the Philadelphia Eagles but was released just a few days later.
The New Orleans Saints then signed Kirkwood in early May of 2018. He'd compete through training camp and preseason, but was among the team's final cuts before the regular season.
Added back to the Saints practice squad, Kirkwood saw action in eight games for New Orleans as a rookie. He'd catch 13 passes for 209 yards with two scores during the 2018 campaign, adding two catches for eight yards and a score in the playoffs.
A hamstring injury limited Kirkwood to only one game and no catches in 2019. He was signed by the Carolina Panthers after that year as a free agent. In two years with the Panthers, Kirkwood caught four passes for 30 yards in four games of action.
After being released by the Panthers during the 2022 preseason, Kirkwood was re-signed by New Orleans. He spent a large portion of the year on the practice squad but did see five games of action, catching two balls for 18 yards.
In 2023 with the Saints, Kirkwood had the most action of his career. He appeared in 13 games, starting four, and had five receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown. After that season, he was signed in free agency by the Baltimore Ravens.
Kirkwood was released by the Ravens during training camp last year. He was re-signed by the team, but spent the entire season on Baltimore's practice squad.
Keith Kirkwood, 30, has 24 receptions for 294 yards and three touchdowns over a six-year NFL career. In his four combined seasons with New Orleans, he had 20 catches for 264 yards and three scores.
