The stage is set for Super Bowl LIX. It will be the Kansas City Chiefs going for a third consecutive title against the Philadelphia Eagles.
It’s a rematch of Super Bowl LVII, this time played in New Orleans. Just like the last time the Chiefs and Eagles squared off, there’s a handful of former Tennessee Titans players that are one step away from getting a ring.
Here are the former Titans players and coaches that are with the Chiefs or Eagles.
The Titans traded Hopkins to Kansas City in a blockbuster deal earlier this season. Now the 32-year-old veteran is set to play in the Super Bowl for the first time in his career.
Firkser is a member of the Chiefs’ practice squad. He played tight end for the Titans from 2018-2021.
For the second time since he was traded to the Eagles, AJ Brown is headed to the Super Bowl. He was a star for the Titans from 2019-2021 and recorded 1,079 on 67 catches this season.
LeRaven Clark played in 13 games for the 2022 Titans before returning to Philadelphia. He is a member of the Eagles practice squad.
Blasingame was the Titans’ fullback from 2019-2021 helping prime Derrick Henry take the NFL by storm. He is currently on the Eagles’ practice squad.
Philips was a 5th round pick by Tennessee in 2022 that was released by the Titans in August of 2024. He has been with the Eagles practice squad ever since.
King was the Titans’ inside linebackers coach from 2022-2023 and left the organization after Mike Vrabel was fired. He joined the Eagles in 2024 and helped coach Zack Baum to a career year with 151 tackles and 3.5 sacks.
