Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Josh Dobbs thoroughly enjoyed UT's 24-17 win against the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday night.
Dobbs enjoyed it so much, in fact, that he appeared to make quite the prediction for the Vols after the game.
"What a game man," tweeted Dobbs. "Go Vols! See ya in the natty!"
Some fans might think a national championship is a stretch after the way the Vols' offense has looked the last few weeks.
But it's really not a stretch at all. Tennessee is in a great spot entering the last month of the season. They're still in the mix for a first-round bye and they can likely afford a loss and still reach the playoff. Everything is on the table still for Tennessee. And based on the way the season has played out so far, the playoff is going to be wide open. There isn't a team out there that looks head and shoulders above the rest.
Tennessee just needs to get hot at the right time. And after their win against Alabama -- specifically what we saw in the second half -- it certainly feels like the Vols' offense is starting to warm up.
