Former Vols standout makes impressive play for first career interception
Robert Hanashiro-USA TODAY Sports

Former Tennessee Vols cornerback Alontae Taylor recorded his first career interception on Sunday.

Taylor has come close several times before, dating back to his rookie season last year, but he finally came through on Sunday in the New Orleans Saints' game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

And he did it via an impressive play.

Taylor, a Tennessee native, played for the Vols from 2018 to 2021. He totaled four interceptions during his career on Rocky Top.

The former Vol was selected by the Saints in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft and he's quickly developed into a key defender for New Orleans.
