It took until Week 16, but Aaron Rodgers finally got his first touchdown run of the 2022 campaign on a two-yard run in Sunday’s win over Minnesota.

The 4th-quarter score by Rodgers was the 35th rushing TD of his career. He is now tied with Clarke Hinkle for sixth place on the Packers’ all-time list for most rushing TDs.

Here’s a look at four other stats that are noteworthy from Rodgers’ TD on Sunday.

Rodgers has 13 seasons with a TD run

The 2022 TD gave Rodgers 13 seasons where he has scored a TD for the Pack. That is the second-most seasons with a TD for the franchise. Donald Driver tops this list with 14 seasons with the Packers with at least one touchdown.

There have been nine Packers players who scored a TD in 10 or more seasons. They are:

14- Donald Driver
13- Aaron Rodgers
11- Max McGee, Don Hutson
10- Randall Cobb, Boyd Dowler, Bart Starr, Joe Laws and Clarke Hinkle

ARod is one of eight NFL QBs with these stats

Rodgers’ TD run on Sunday also gave him 13 seasons with at least one TD run and one TD pass. He is now one of eight NFL players who has scored a TD and had a TD pass in 13 or more seasons in the league. Drew Brees tops this list with 16 seasons with a TD score and a TD pass. He is followed by Fran Tarkenton (15 seasons), Tom Brady and John Elway (14 seasons each), and Aaron Rodgers, Steve Young, Steve Grogan, and Y.A. Tittle (13 seasons each).

Aaron Rodgers is the second player age 39+ to score a TD for the Pack

Rodgers became the second Packers player in history to score a TD for the team at age 39+. He was 39 years and 30 days old on Sunday. The other Packer was Zeke Bratkowski who was 39 years and 355 days when he scored a TD for Green Bay on October 10, 1971.

Rodgers is the second-oldest player to score a TD for Green Bay

Rodgers became the second oldest player to score a TD for the Pack, 325 days behind Bratkowski. Rodgers leap-frogged teammate Marcedes Lewis who had the second and third spot in this stat. Lewis this season scored a TD against the New York Giants in Week 5 at 38 years, 143 days, and then had another TD in Week 15 against the Dolphins at age 38 years and 220 days.

It’s interesting to note that on the day Rodgers scored this past Sunday, Tom Brady also scored his first TD of the season at age 45 years and 151 days. Brady scored on a one-yard run for Tampa Bay. He became the oldest player to ever score a TD in NFL history.
