FOX Analyst Terry Bradshaw Has No Respect For NFL Head Coach
Alan Youngblood / USA TODAY NETWORK

Over Christmas weekend, FOX analyst Terry Bradshaw made it known that he was not happy with the way one young quarterback was being treated by his team.

Bradshaw, of course, played quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1970 through 1983 and is a former No. 1 overall pick - so it stands to reason he would stick up for those in a similar position to what he was thrust into when he entered the league.

“I have no respect for Arthur Smith,” Bradshaw said on the Christmas Eve edition of Fox NFL Sunday

“Messed with that young quarterback Desmond Ridder like that, and you set him back. Play the young man. Leave him alone. Don’t lie to him. And [Smith] lied to him. And he needs to get his butt whooped! Nothing upsets me more than when someone lies to me.”

Ridder has been benched for the second time in favor of backup Taylor Heinicke after Smith reportedly promised the former Cincinnati Bearcat he would start for the rest of the season.

For what it's worth, Young is coaching for his job, and that should be more important than any ill-advised promise that was made. Also, the Falcons got the win over the Colts behind Heinicke - keeping their slim playoff hopes alive.
