Going into the 2025 season, Tom Brady will enter the second year of his 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox Sports. He will serve as the program's lead NFL analyst alongside Kevin Burkhardt.
Throughout his first season, many had mixed opinions on his performance in the booth. However, having spent 23 years in the NFL and won seven Super Bowls, it's hard to deny that no one brings as much knowledge about the game as he.
Of course, much of that success came with the New England Patriots, and on Thursday, the team announced it'd be unveiling a statue of Brady on Aug. 8, before its preseason matchup against the Washington Commanders.
It's certainly big news to earn this kind of recognition, and it even caught the attention of Fox Sports, which used its "nflonfox" Instagram account to comment two goat emojis.
Seeing the Patriots honor Brady to this extent is no surprise, as in his 20 years with the team (2000-2019), he completed 6,377 of 9,988 passes for 74,571 yards, 541 touchdowns and 179 interceptions.
He made 14 Pro Bowls with the Patriots, was named First-Team All-Pro and MVP three times and AP Offensive Player of the Year once, while compiling a 219-64 regular season record and six Super Bowl wins.
It's not as though this is the first time the Patriots are acknowledging his time with the franchise, either, as they inducted him into the team's Hall of Fame in 2024.
This also won't be the last time Fox Sports has the chance to react to some exciting news about Brady, as he's eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2028, where he's likely to be a first-ballot selection
