Brown, 36, earned his fifth career trip to the Pro Bowl during the 2021 season, but the Seahawks allowed him to reach free agency. While there were reports that Seattle could look to bring Brown back, the team used the No. 9 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft to take offensive tackle Charles Cross and a third-round selection to pick offensive tackle Abraham Lucas.
The Carolina Panthers were also rumored to have interest in Brown, but no deal has come to fruition.
Brown began his career with the Texans after he was picked in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft. After a contract dispute led to Brown sitting out the first six weeks of the 2017 season, he was traded to the Seahawks and signed a three-year, $36.5 million extension in the 2018 offseason.
