HENDERSON, Nev.--The Las Vegas Raiders have opened their 2023 NFL Training Camp, and cornerback Tyler Hall took to the podium to address the media.

You can watch his entire comments below and read the transcript:

 Cornerback Tyler Hall

Q: I know you joined the team last season kind of during the season. What's it been like going through a whole offseason program and kind of having your feet under you a little bit?

Hall: "Like you said, it's comfortable being there the whole offseason. Kind of got thrown in the fire coming in a late addition trying to pick up on the installs and stuff like that. But having this whole offseason to go in and dissect our formation, plays and just executing our assignment, it's been a real big help for my progress on this team."

Q: The team added a lot of cornerbacks this offseason, how have you sort of embraced that competition?

Hall: "I would just say it's been a healthy competition. A lot of guys in our room are guys who want to prove themselves I would say. So, It's been a healthy competition, everybody's learning from each other and trying to get better each day."

Q: How much more confidence do you have in yourself going into the season now that you have more information and you have that playing time with this team?

Hall: "I would just say I just take it a day at a time. The more snaps and reps I get, game experience, that's just where the confidence just grows within the defense and just knowing my assignment and understand what I'm supposed to be doing at all times."

The Silver and Black open the preseason by hosting the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Aug. 13, at 4 p.m. EDT/1 p.m. PDT.
